The Story Changes

Having long been known for their deep roots in the Midwest music scene, The Story
Changes have captivated cities, one day at a time, through a unique, energectic live
show and touring constantly across the entire country. The Dayton two piece did not
give in to the fast falling hypes and bullshit of the music industry, as they created a
long lasting relationship with indie label, Future Destination Records, to build their
music upon. Following the recording of the band's debut album, Last Night a Rock
Band Saved My Life, the band never looked back and toured constantly including a
well-received stint on the 2006 Vans Warped Tour.

On their second full length album, The Way of the Dinosaur, The Story Changes
deliver an emotionally charged and energetic effort molding modern influences like
Jimmy Eat World with past loves Jawbreaker, Seaweed, and Quicksand, among others.
Produced by Jamie Woolford (the Stereo, Let Go, Man Alive, the Format), the album
captures the energy of the band's live show while still bringing the song's strong
melodies to the forefront. After spending the better part of two years on the road
supporting their debut album Last Night a Rock Band Saved My Life, the band cites
life on the road as not only an influence lyrically, but also in the overall tone and
direction of the new album.

In 2009, the band paired together with longtime friends & touring partners Let Go to
create, Analogies, which is more of a "shared album" than a "split". Both bands
worked with producer Jamie Woolford (The Stereo / Punchline / Gin Blossoms) who
mixed the songs together for a consistent sound & feel. Analogies foregoes the
normal approach to a split release by alternating between band from start to finish to
make for a fun & unique listen.

The Story Changes now follow up with the release of This Is Your Moment, in 2011.
After three long years of being road warriors on strong tour packages, the two piece
have finally settled down to strike back hard with four brilliant new studio tracks on
their first ever vinyl release as a band. Moody and intricate just scrape the surface to
describe what listeners can expect from this brilliant release. This Is Your Moment will
hit stores June 4th, 2011 via I AM SHARK.
